you can consider splitting the datastore in replica stores and stores for dedicated disks to get a better administrative overview for your configuration. Additionally I would have a look at your pool sizes and how you can balance the desktops equally on your datastore. If all of your pools have the same size and are configured the same way, I would use 2 dedicated stores for each pool during the initial configuration and add the other 8 afterwards. So you don't have the risk off putting 2 replicas on the same datastore.
