Let me try and understand exactly what you are needing, and hopefully I can then help you find a solution.
Am I right to say that you want the audio in (microphone) and audio-out (speaker) to be left local to the client machine. BUT, you want the buttons forwarded to the guest?
Is Lync installed in your guest VM?
Is your client end point windows, linux or mac?
and, what version of client are you using?
