Hi Peter,
Thanks for sticking with this...
Because I don't know/understand what's going on in the background in terms of USB, or audio redirection, I just assumed that the vm audio was redirected to the default local audio playback device. Because it just worked 'out of the box' before I've never really need to look any further in to audio/USB redirection other than controlling the redirection of specific printer tso that the would play nice with Thinprint, so it hard for me to judge whether or not you assessment of the problem is correct. By that I mean that I may not have adequately described the problem in the firs place.
From my point of view, I don't care if all of the phones' functions are redirected or not (I assume it was with client v5.0.) provided, of course, that tehetering continuous to work. I just want ability/choice to redirect sound to the default local playback device regardless of what other devie/devices have been redirected.
That said, I'm happy to try your suggestion but I don't know how to '...Un-install PCoIP audio redirection on the VM (brute force approach to removing other audio devices)', nor do I quite grasp and what impact that would have. The rest of your instructions are fine. If you could clarify this a little I'll give it a go.
Thanks again.
Steve.
