Hi everyone, we implemented a Horizon View 5.2 environment in November, and this was an open issue ever since. We are running vSphere 5.5, using Wyze P25 zero clients, our guest machines are all Windows 7 Pro SP1 64bit, and using the Epson TM-U3250 USB printer. No matter what troubleshooting we tried, nothing resolved the issue. Here are the steps that we used to finally get this issue resolved
Upgrade Connection/Composer server to version 5.3
Delete pool using a master with View Agent 5.2
Upgrade Master guest to View Agent 5.3
Install TM Virtual Port Driver 8.20a > Run as Administrator and accept all defaults > Exit out program after installation
Install USB Device Driver 6.10s > Run as Administrator and accept all defaults
Add registry key using REGEDIT: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc.\VMware VDM\USB\Vid_04b8&Pid_0202] "DeviceFlags"=dword:1000
Shut down Mater guest machine
Create new snapshot of Master
Create new pool with Master on View Agent 5.3
Physically plug Epson printer into zero client - do not turn on
On zero client login to guest machine in pool
Run Epson Virtual Port Tool and manually assign to COM3 (Must be local admin on guest OS)
Turn on Epson printer (guest OS may or may not try to install a driver)
Use the Epson Virtual Port Tool to perform a test print
Hopefully these steps will help out someone else dealing with the same problem we had!
