I went to the check list and certificate should be ok.
but what do you mean by:
- Is the certificate intended for a purpose other than verifying the identity of the sender and encrypting server communications? That is, is it the correct type of certificate?
my actual question is rather what specifications and formats/templates does the View clients require for the Root CA.
All my clients have my Windows CA issued certificate in their Root CA store and with correct DNS etc. but still does not recognize it.
my certificate was created out of a modified duplicate of the default windows web server template. And clients recognize the certificate in browser.
Are there anything missing in the certificate template I created so that the Windows clients can't use it?
