Is there a reason why you have to create a new pool instead of just assigning the new Golden Image into Pool A and recomposing? This would allow you maintain your dedicated mappings on the pool.
If that isn't available then your persona may be be the key for your settings/config carrying over to the new image/pool. Have you performed any test to see what/if anything comes over?
