Ok, so the situation has shifted a bit.
The information I received was wrong. The current pool settings are:
- Dedicated
- Automated
- The profiles are stored on a persistent disk
- Disposable disk for temp files
1. Will the persistent disks stay in place and keep working properly if I'd keep the current pool but just would point it to the new Parent VM / Snapshot ?
2. If I have to create a new pool and would keep the same settings as the old pool (clean up reasons), how would I migrate the persistent disks to the new pool? Would I have to detach/attach all the disks manually?
3. What if the new pool has to be persona mode? What would the profile migration look like in this case?
Management hasn't made a decision yet and it could be anything really.
