I have been working hard trying to decrease login time to a View desktop. Here is where things stand
- 300 Win7, 32bit desktops
- These desktops have items like Office 2007, Flash, Java, Smart Notebook, Quicktime, etc. installed on them
- The default profile is 236MB
- The master image had the View optimization script run
- I have deleted all StubPaths to disable Microsoft Active Setup
Login times are about 36 seconds. I also made a small pool of Win7, 32bit desktops that just had Windows 7 installed, no other applications. This desktop has a login time of 23 seconds with a default profile of 98MB
