Hi ,
Can you downgrade view agent to 5.0 and test your smart card reader. Also you will get more information in view client logs and view agent logs. You can enable USB trace logging to get more information. If this issue is not resolved with view agent 5.0, please file support request with Vmware and let me know Support Request number.
