Your points are valid. Don't get me wrong. Most commercial AV software solutions will recognise most known key-loggers, and if the private network is opened to the public Internet using a VPN in this this way, then anything that can detect known key-loggers and other known malware is almost certainly better than nothing. It's actually simpler with Horizon View because it doesn't require full VPN access. View can therefore accommodate secure "deep packet inspection" techniques specifically for the View protocols involved.
