No worries. Glad to help out. For clarification, I could not pair at all with Lync 2013 installed on client PC/Laptop. I was able to get the "pairing icon" in RDP with Lync 2013 client installed, but it never paired successfully...icon just kept flashing.
If using PCoIP, make sure you have the latest Horizon View client and I would recommend cleaning up any REG keys on the local PC related to Lync Client after you uninstalled it. Also, SEP's Firewall seemed to locally block some ports on my client while testing. Upper 4000 TCP/UDP ports if memory serves me.
Give me some more details about your testing environment (OS, SP level, Antivirus/Firewall software, VDI plugin version (32-bit v 64) etc ) and I will help ya out
