The template was part of a domain (the same domain the script is pointing to using it’s FQDN), as I was under the impression, or was told by our provider, that the template has to have been joined to the domain before converting to a template. Is that not the case?

I’ll double check my DNS and such, but from the VM, before converted to a template, I can ping the domain name and DC’s within the domain OK. And, the VM does get a DHCP from that domain after its been logged in to before and after it leaves the domain.
