But, that integration isn't compatible with Lync 2010.
For Lync2010, then we should still work with tethered phones. I think the device you have is likely being blocked by a default filter rule or the splitting you configured isn't quite right.
Note, you commented that you had tried excluding the audio out interface ( I presume via splitting). Note that if you do this then you MUST also exclude ALL OTHER audio interfaces. It is not possible to have some audio interfaces on the client and others on the guest. Its either all on guest or all on client. So please try to exlude all audio interfaces, but forward the others.
You need to look at the client logs for this. I can help you if you can attach a client debug log (and click on the USB menu in the client - to force the usb devices to be read).
