Keep in mind that the 23 seconds is on a test pool with a master image that ONLY has Windows 7, no other software installed
My production desktops that have quite a bit more software installed (hence a bigger default profile to reproduce on login) has a login time of 36 seconds
I am using a Pure Storage array - all SSD
It seems that the login times does not really vary much with load on the host. I can login a View desktop off hours (very light load on host) and during a busy point during the day (hosts are busy) and the login time does not vary by much.
I am not using any type of personal management tool, I am just doing Windows folder redirection on the Desktop and Documents folder so they go to a network share. Have heard good things about Profile Unity but have not look at it yet
